SANITRONICS AND VERHOFSTÉ WIN THE PROCUREMENT FOR THE NMBS / SNCB
At least 77 self-cleaning restrooms will be installed at train stations across Belgium.
Sanitronics and Verhofsté Group have teamed up to combine their strengths for a large-scale restroom rollout at NMBS / SNCB train stations in Belgium.
Verhofsté is already a well-known supplier for NMBS / SNCB across different product groups, including bicycle parking systems, shelters and elevator shafts. Sanitronics brings its expertise as market leader in self-cleaning public restrooms.

Self-cleaning restrooms across Belgium
A minimum of 77 self-cleaning restrooms will be installed in train stations across Belgium. In addition, the framework agreement includes an option for 19 additional units.
The majority of these restrooms will be retrofit installations inside existing train station buildings. With its local knowledge and experience, Verhofsté will play an important role in the on-site installation of the restroom facilities.
Long-term maintenance and digital infrastructure
A 20-year maintenance contract is part of the procurement. This long-term approach helps ensure that the restroom facilities remain operational, hygienic and reliable for station visitors over time.
