Project information
Located at Rupert-Mayer-Platz in Stuttgart, this public restroom facility is part of the city’s investment in clean, safe and modern sanitary infrastructure.
The unit is equipped with The Revolving Toilet, a self-cleaning toilet system designed for reliable use in busy public environments.
Designed in collaboration with Wiel Arets Architects, the unit combines a transparent glass exterior with a distinctive roof edge and integrated lighting.
This creates a recognizable and high-quality appearance that fits the urban environment while supporting Stuttgart’s need for clean and safe public restrooms.
The facility includes a display that allows the Municipality of Stuttgart to share local information and events directly with visitors.
In addition, the unit is equipped with a water tap, adding an extra public service function to the location.
Installed for AWS / Abfallwirtschaft Stuttgart in 2026, this project is part of the previously awarded tender for public restroom facilities in Stuttgart.
Rupert-Mayer-Platz is one of more than 20 planned locations where modern public toilets will be introduced throughout the city.
