Fastned Hatton Cross now live

The Revolving Toilet near Heathrow Airport is now a reality.

Fastned Hatton Cross officially opened on 12 June, adding a new ultra-rapid charging hub near Heathrow Airport and Hatton Cross Underground Station.

Located in a busy mobility corridor, the site is designed to serve EV drivers, commuters, travellers and visitors passing through the area.

As part of the visitor facilities, the location is equipped with The Revolving Toilet: a self-cleaning, wheelchair-accessible restroom that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The restroom unit features a wood-look exterior with an illuminated Fastned logo, creating a warm and recognizable appearance that complements the charging hub. The same wood-look finish continues inside, offering visitors a more comfortable and welcoming restroom experience.

Access is available to everyone through a paid Nayax system, making the facility accessible not only to Fastned customers charging their vehicles, but also to Underground passengers, local visitors and people passing through the Hatton Cross area.

Since opening, the restroom has already welcomed nearly 1,000 visitors. This demonstrates the growing demand for reliable sanitary facilities at busy mobility locations, where people often spend extended periods of time.

Supporting the charging experience

The Hatton Cross installation follows the earlier opening of Fastned Herzogenrath in Germany, where The Revolving Toilet was also installed. Together with other Fastned locations, these projects highlight the increasing importance of public restroom facilities as part of the overall charging experience.
